Each member of the SHC team is supported by his or her own colleagues and specialists, all of whom are available to be brought onto a project as and when needed. Each consultant is, however, available individually on an hourly rate basis, or as part of a team, depending on the fix that is required.
Former Managing Director of JWA Prague s.r.o and freelance Marketing Consultant
Jo was the founder and Managing Director of one of the Czech Republic’s best-known and highly regarded independent communications agencies, JWA Prague, from 1991 until the end of 2018. For the past two years she has been working as an independent marketing consultant, specializing in the hospitality industry, sport and finance. During her time with the agency, Jo ran numerous different marketing and communications campaigns for many of Prague’s leading hotels, and more recently she has acted as an independent marketing consultant, advising on strategy, marketing and sales, for hotels both inside and outside the Czech Republic.
Managing Director and Architect, Ian Bryan Architects
Ian set up Ian Bryan Architects (IBA) in Prague in 1997 and since 2001 has developed a strong track record in developing hospitality projects. He now leads a dedicated team of architects, designers and project managers working in this sector.
IBA designs hotel solutions and project manages their implementation in order to create environments which transform the guest experience and improve operational performance. The team recognizes that its solutions need to be of the highest design quality but that they must also be robust, practical and economical.
As well as designing new hotels from scratch IBA has been continuously involved in improvement projects in functioning hotels and it understand the exacting constraints when disruption to a hotel’s operations cannot be considered.
Alexander Raiman is a trained army officer turned sales coach. Over the past ten years he has worked in several different businesses in sales management positions. He specializes in training and coaching people and developing them into pillars of the organisations that he works with.
He has recently co-founded Saleshero, a company providing sales coaching for Czech businesses. During his career Alexander has also worked for two different travel businesses, Invia and Daytrip, giving him a wide perspective into the level of sales that can be achieved in the travel industry.
Managing Director, Jan Reality
Jan Adámek has been in the hotel business for many years. In 2003, he secured the acquisition of the 5* Hotel Jalta on Wenceslas Square in Prague for a British investor, and this was followed three years later by the 4* Hotel Plaza Alta in Prague 7, for the same owner. He managed both hotels until 2010.
For many years, Jan was also President of the Prague Convention Bureau, which seeks to increase the number of congress events and conferences in Prague and throughout the Czech Republic.
Today Jan successfully combines his knowledge of both the real estate market and the hotel industry at his company JAN Hospitality, which provides consultancy and other services for hotels and restaurants.
Twenty years of active scouting has taught him what is most important, which is, in his words, that rules, truth and fairness are essential. He has brought that legacy to JAN Hospitality, which is currently working for dozens of domestic and foreign companies.
In addition, he has chaired Prague’s New Town Association for ten years, an initiative that aims to make Wenceslas Square a place where people feel good and where they want to spend their time.
He speaks fluent English and Spanish, and can also communicate in German, French and Russian.
